Barking Up The Wrong Tree

Survey says we’ll make a cute couple

And you know that I agree

But there seems to be a bit of trouble

You don’t want to be with me.

In the end, we’ll see if I’m barking up the wrong tree.

We’ve known each other for a while

Seen each other mad

Seen each other smile

But after all, you think us being together would be bad.

In the end, we’ll see if I’m barking up the wrong tree.

Your true feelings, I know you can’t deny

I know this to be true

No matter how many times you try to confuse me with a lie

You know you want me and you know I want you

In the end, we’ll see if I’m barking up the wrong tree.

Every time I think of you, there’s an unanswered phone call

And you don’t concern yourself to respond

You say you want a person who can receive your all

So why can’t we be what you want and beyond?

In the end, we’ll see if I’m barking up the wrong tree.

I know you’re worth it so for you, I will fight

I like you, remember you said that that one night

Sometimes you make me feel like I’m doing something wrong

But I still think we should be together, together we belong.

In the end, we’ll see if I’m barking up the wrong tree.
