Thank God

Thank God

 Every sunrise, a baby cries and young adults rise,
And we fall prey to an old age disguise.
All because most of us don’t fall on our knees,
But when something goes wrong you find us saying “Please”.
“What did I do to deserve this”,
“Please don’t let my misfortune persist”.
When you could have minimized it all by saying a few words,
Words that if spoken so softly with sincerity can give flight to birds.
I’ve lost family, friends, thoughts, dreams, and years;
But a higher power has always been there to wipe away the tears.
That’s why I try to keep it Christian like a rosary and a cross,
Because you never know when you might just get lost.
Burned rubber, twisted metal, and financial woes,
But still I stand with all ten fingers and toes.
So when you’re out and about and something transpires,
Stay faithful and true and ignore all the shadiest liars.
When the moon waves bye and The Sun says hello,
And you’re intact with the body and mind you were born with;
Don’t think that it’s something mysterious or a little odd.
You better humble your heart and simply thank God.
Almighty.

Mirror Image

Mirror Image

He mimics my actions and my thoughts.
When I’m agitated, he is distraught.
He mimics my speech and my movements,
And when I better myself, he makes improvements.
He copies my style and the way I approach others.
I‘ve even seen him imitate my friends and my brothers.
He copies what I do and what I write.
He even goes to sleep at the same time I do at night.
He mimics the way I wear my clothes and my hair style,
Even when I become enraged, he becomes defensive and hostile.
He mimics my facial expressions down to the very last wrinkle.
Strangely enough, when I look him in the eye, he has the same twinkle.
When I turn my back on him, he laughs and plots on my downfall.
He says that if I ever trifle with my life, he will step from behind the wall.
In frustration, my mighty fist breaks his elegant glass.
He is my own worst enemy, full of ill will & taunting sass.
My reflection.

The Plan

 I love you more than enough to know
When it's time to let you go
But that’s not how I want it to be
But there are too many issues between me and you
One issue is you want to spend all the time in the world with me
That’s impossible so there’s not too much I can try to do
My lover caught feelings way too fast, definitely in a hurry
And when we argue, it makes our future look very blurry
I wanted to make this bond last, that was the plan
But through it all, the source of my joy couldn't understand
We started off so wrong; it was kind of doomed from the start
How can lust bring us together but love tears us apart?
Was it ever love or was it always simply lust
My concubine wanted it all but betrayed my trust
I’m not perfect and neither is this sweetheart of mine
And the plan was to keep her always on my mind
But other people had the same goal in their sight
I don’t want to deal so to you I say goodnight, my number one fan
To love you for a very long time; that was quite simply the plan
 But I guess you really just couldn't understand.

Our Beloved Yolanda

Our Beloved Yolanda

This time of passing, no one could foresee.
We will truly miss her, we all agree.
Our hearts are full of moments and memories,
And we thank all those for their deepest sympathies.
We show our grief and affection by shedding a tear
But we’ll always remember her as warm, tender, and sincere.
We only hope that she has found peace and that we can see her again;
Our mother, our daughter, our niece, our cousin, and our friend.
Never can we be prepared for such a time,
But she’ll always live on in our hearts and minds.
We are a family that must unite in righteousness, not wrong.
She would want us to remain faithful and strong.
Let us find tranquilly in love and not in sorrow.
Today may be cloudy but there will be a brighter tomorrow.
Allow our spirits to be full of love and no drama.
We love you and we’ll always remember our beloved
Yolanda.

Thinking About Her...

Thinking About Her

This mind of mine keeps thinking about this girl I met
And how I haven’t had the chance to get close to her yet
Images of her beauty revolve around in my mind so I’ll always remember
That she is more amazing than August and sexier than September

This mind of mine keeps thinking about this girl I care for
And how I want to dive into her lovely world and explore
From day one, my eyes have been fixed on this female
And I just pray that my undying love for her will prevail

This mind of mine keeps thinking about this girl I love
And how she’s so sweet and heavenly like the stars above
If only she could see what I see when I look at her with these eyes of mine
She’ll see a woman sweet enough to eat and fine like wine

I can’t stop thinking about her.......

In Too Deep

These lustful thoughts swirling in and out of my head
About you lying undressed in my bed
No questions of how did I get here or who are you
Just a spontaneous feeling of what I am supposed to do
And yet, for a moment I begin to hesitate
And ask myself, will I always be bound by these urges I feel?
As soon as I start to resist, there goes my heart rate
So elevated, so rapidly that I have to kneel
Just to catch my breath and recapture my composure
But that again, goes out the window as I marvel at your revealing exposure.
In my ways, in many facets, oh so unique,
Your eyes, your lips, your entire physique
This is when I realize that I am in too deep
In so deep that I dare not pay any attention to your flaws
 Nor any of your untruthful and misleading transgressions
Some say its love, some say it’s a hex placed on my heart
Whatever it is, these urges, these feelings, somehow I can’t withdraw
And one would have to think it’s because you & your figure leave me in awe
My mind constantly revolving around you & your universe
And fantasies of being your love doctor and you my nurse
I, at long last, see that you have me as compliant and vulnerable as a flock of sheep
I am indeed, In Too Deep.

The Pleasure Positions

The seduction comes first,
Everything else comes second;
And once you’re under my spell,
I can get anything from you including what’s in your purse.
I promise I’ll leave you gasping for air every second,
And it won’t take a second for me to make you yell.
Caress your lips with mine, nibble on your ears;
Kiss you on your chest to erase all your fears.
Gently lick your nipples, stroke them real soft,
Stroke your curvy waist, now I’m pulling your jeans off.
There go the jeans, down go the panties;
No need to be shy, your body is uncanny.
I mean that in a good way, beautiful is what I should say.
Lay back and watch me work this tongue in a lewd way.
Watch me lick, suck, & nibble on these lips,
Enjoy this for a while before I get into those hips.
Got this pussy hot, wet, & swollen, if it’s too much close your eyes;
But I must warn you, I got an even bigger surprise.
I pray you’re not afraid of some pleasure and pain,
And before it’s all said and done, you’ll be screaming my name.

Your Worth

Don’t let those tramps see you down,
Don’t let those haters see you frown,
Continue to be yourself and be the nicest girl around
Ignore all of the talk,
Ignore all of the lies,
Don’t let those ingrates bring tears to your eyes
Keep smiling though the rain,
Keep pushing pass the pain,
And stay focus on your goals and what you’re trying to obtain.
Enjoy the time with those you love,
Cherish every moment with those you love,
And place all of your problems in the heavens above.
Whatever it is that hurts you, just pray it doesn’t get worse
The Lord God made you special and you’ve been that since birth;
Just continue to keep smiling and remember your worth

Love Beautiful, My Beautiful Love

(dedicated to someone special...)

every Moment I spend with you
whether it's in your prEsence or on the phone
I think about how I don't want to be Alone
and what in God's name it is that I have to do
in order to get to the point where we're Able to express how we both feel
though you may already kNow and you told me a couple times before
I can't Help but think that there's a little bit more
something more tO be shared between us that's so real
something that'll erase ouRs fears, our insercurities, and our worries
aNd we can partake in what we both have to offer each other
best friends, tEnder care givers, long lasting lovers
kissing in the midst of rain, huddled together amongst snow flurries
there's a plateau we can reach together that'll leave people in awe of
a place where we can show what we feel towards one another with ease
if you want, I can take you there and I say this while I'm on my knees
let's go the distance and watch what can happen if we try, my beautiful love...

Last of a Dying Breed

The Black Man, I Am & You Are,
Separately We’ll Die, Together We’ll Go Far.

The last of a mighty kingdom of kings & queens;
And we are the future, full of ambitions and dreams.
Its up to us to accomplish what our ancestors set out for us,
The fight never stops and success is definitely a must.
Our brothers & sisters are dying here, in Ethiopia, and Darfur.
We cannot allow our race to decline anymore.

I Am, You Are The Black Man,
Restore Black Power, Yes We Can.

Let’s stop the degrading our mothers, sisters, and wives;
For without them, we wouldn’t even have lives.
Let’s stop letting things like poverty get us down;
We got to wear a smile and let our enemies frown.
The world wants us to crawl up, die and disappear,
So we have to live with intelligence & dignity and not know of fear.

We Are The Black Man, The Thing Our Kids Need;
We Are The Black Man, The Last of a Dying Breed.

5-Star Treatment

After a long day, sit back, relax, and tell me how it was,
And I’m going to give you my full undivided attention just because.
While you speak, I’ll rub your feet and massage your neck until you’re delighted,
And then, I’ll run your bath water exactly how you like it.
It’s no secret; I treat the ladies to the 5-star treatment.

The day doesn’t matter to me and it shouldn’t matter to you.
I see every day as a new opportunity to love and flatter you
Rose petals on the floor, silk sheets on the bed, & Victoria’s lingerie;
 “Don’t disturb’ on the door, pure pleasure unsaid, & a bottle of chardonnay.
It’s no secret; I treat the ladies to the 5-star treatment.

There aren’t too many guys that will cater to a woman’s needs like I do.
Most of them are too focused about when they’re going to “screw”.
Although that is not me, I show respect,
I love and cherish the opposite sex.
It’s no secret; I treat the ladies to the 5-star treatment.

A Lovely Lady

What I Want Is What I See,
Trying To Find What’s Right For Me
I Would Choose You In A Second Even If I Couldn't See
Even If We Couldn't Be,
Even If You're Wrong For Me
I'd Wish That We Still Could
Not For What We Would Have Loved Doing
But For What It Would Have Stood
I Can’t Help How I Feel
But The Way I Feel Is Real
Just Like The Birds In The Air & The Fish In The Sea
I Only Want You

Your Man Is Who I Want To Be
